Nita holds a full legal consultancy license from the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department and has extensive experience in Wills, Inheritance and Family matters in the UAE. Nita has authored numerous articles on family, asset and wealth protection for ex-pats in the UAE and she has forged trusted and long-standing working relationships with the Dubai Courts, Personal Status Courts and DIFC Courts. Nita is a DIFC registered Wills Draftsman and has a leading role in the working group involved in formulating/contributing to the DIFC Wills Service Centre Rules.  

  • How does an overseas owner of property in Dubai fully protect their asset in the UAE jurisdiction? 
  • Nita talks about the structure of a Will and how you need to protect fixed assets/property in the UAE.  Do you need to be in Dubai to prepare and register a Will with the DIFC?

What a great informative episode and Louise, like many expats, is now thinking she needs to get on and formalise her Will. As Nita put it so perfectly - it’s never too early - but it can often be too late.
